totally noob question here but how do wireless networks work. is it safe to play from my laptop at school using the network that every [censored] student uses? theres no pw to access it. and im not scared about being cheated by people looking at my cards. i'm talking about can some student on campus be hacking around and [censored] and see my pw and watch my mouse motions and all that [censored] in real time?

Think of it no differently then if it were wired. The same principals apply.
An open WiFi will have no signal encryption - but neither does a regular wired connection. |

As long as you have firewalls and virus-protection on your computer, you should have no issues, even less with just playing poker.

pretty sure they can do exactly that via arp poisoning man in the middle attack.
