big bluff vs donkish tag.
Villain is like 24/17/3. He has been calling my raises with suited connectors oop HU. In one hand I reraised him with AK, he was UTG and called with AQ. We checked it down and I won. In another hand I raised he called ip. flop was A55. chech check. turn was a jack. I bet he peeled with 66 and river checked through. So he seems quite loose post and pre. He called turn v quick which is usually weak. Altho I can see him having Th. I've never seen him minraise preflop before.

Re: big bluff vs donkish tag.
so you just gave a description that he's a huge calling station and then you try and bluff him on the worst possible board, when he'll never fold any heart?

Re: big bluff vs donkish tag.
why do you think he never folds any heart? also in the hands I described I was betting small, I don't know how loose he is when faced with big bets. My read was that he never has Ah. I was tilted and decided to bluff.

Re: big bluff vs donkish tag.
I don't like the PF rr or the river bet. I'm not a fan of the flop bet either tbh but I can understand that I guess.

Re: big bluff vs donkish tag.
i dont like it either,
if his range is more towards suited cons here, they hit pretty ok, and AQ etc also,i m as well c/f here often on the flop, but on the turn after im called |

Re: big bluff vs donkish tag.
flop bet is cuz after reraising he shouldn't have high cards too often. turn bet is because he has a heart approx 50% of the time. river bet is part tilt part read that he doesn't have ace of heart while it is v easy for me to have it with the action so far.

well you said he couldnt fold 66 on a A55J board [/ QUOTE ] Yes but that's irrelevant. It wasn't a 3bet pot and it was a small pot, lot's of people do stuff like that. As for the betting, i'd probably check the flop but w/e. After betting i like betting the turn and i don't mind betting this river but i think he may look you up here with a 10H so i'm not sure. |
