Re: $3 rebuy, ATo vs limpers
Looks like FPS to me, I'd just limp. If you are going to raise you need to just go ahead and shove. I'd like it a little more if you were in one of the blinds, I really don't care for the move with 3 people left to act. Also, it being the level after the rebuy period is a reason to not make this move, as your image is going to be less solid that it will 2 levels from now, regardless of what you've actually been doing.

Re: $3 rebuy, ATo vs limpers
I agree. At this time, people are still in "rebuy mode" looking for coinflips and ready to play drawing hands. I would actually let the hand go for this reason. There are certainly much better spots you can pick than this right? AT in this position is weak anyway. Fold and wait for the better spot. And a 900 raise preflop in a 3Rebuy where the action is crazy with anything less than a premium hand is nuts...

Re: $3 rebuy, ATo vs limpers
Limp along or just fold pre...not good timing for a move...you can find a better spot and your stack will allow you to be patient enough to fine one..

Re: $3 rebuy, ATo vs limpers
If you are shallower, you can shove, if much deeper, you can make a play.
However, lets say we get a caller, and the pot is 2kish, we need to bet at least 1k on flop. So, if we had 6 or 7k we can fold to a raise, but, as you found out, you basically potcommited yourself when you didnt want to |

Re: $3 rebuy, ATo vs limpers
Shove > Limp > Fold > Raise
You are the table shortstack and picking up the extra 600 in the pot is not wrong. If someone comes along with pockets I'm happy to take the flip. Why such a small stack? Did you just lose a chunk of it or didn't take the add-on? The latter is a criminal act... |

Re: $3 rebuy, ATo vs limpers
Im defo not limping here, and i dont see pushing as a long term good play but purely based on such a low stack in this tounrye with such a long wat to go yah I dont mind pushing

Re: $3 rebuy, ATo vs limpers
I open fold this unless I got a good read on the limpers being sucky. Given that this is a $3 rebuy that's probably the case, so I suppose limping is fine then. Shoving>raising any other amount, but I don't like shoving this 22bb's deep w/ 4 people left to act behind us, plus either the UTG and the UTG+1 limper could be strong enough to call a jam.
