Reading statistics for HUSNG\'s
-% Showdowns won
-% Win if flop seen -% Hands won I was wondering if there's anyway to determine how well your playing in HUSNG's by looking at these statistics. Any idea on the percentage range that would indicate good play? This is assuming of course you have a large enough sample of hands played. |

Re: Reading statistics for HUSNG\'s
yes and no. mostly no though. you can always gage something from any stat, but those ones specifically don't really hold much water in hu sng's for a few reasons. even over a large sample size, everything in hu sng's is so situational, between who you're playing against, the stack sizes, pace of the match, etc, that in all reality, you can't really make too many judgments based on stats, because there's just too much variance between the situations you run across for stats to give you an accurate reflection of how well you're playing. things just aren't static enough to keep the measuring table balanced. ideally you of course want to be winning the majority of the hands you play and the majority of the showdowns you see, but that really isn't worth putting much stock into. what you really want to be concerned with is your % of matches won, your % of equity in AI hands in relation to your edge on opponent, etc. not thinking in terms of all of the hands, but the crucial hands that make or break the outcome of the match for you as a whole.
