However, some of those outs could be bad. Also, his raise commits himself to the pot. |

I'd give it up here especially with no reads. Your Ace might not be any good. Might be a flush draw, but you've got a better spot I think.

I'd give up too. You might only have 3 outs, you have no reads yet, and you're OOP, button only has $9 so even if you were to hit your gutty, you're not getting as much implied odds as you would like.

Usually when I have a high pair hand, such as AQo, I try to raise enough where my stack-to-pot ratio (SPR) is small. Since I opened for 5xBB, if I get called, my SPR is 6, which makes pot commitment decisions easier. Something I picked up from PNLHE: Vol I.
