Hit top pair, but now I\'m worried
Villain is 27/20
PokerStars No-Limit Hold'em, $0.10 BB (4 handed) Poker Stars Converter Tool from FlopTurnRiver.com (Format: FlopTurnRiver Cards) BB ($9.50) Hero ($13) Button =#A500AF(Villain)/ ($6.75) SB ($6.70) Preflop: Hero is UTG with , . [color=#CC3333]Hero raises to $0.4</font>, [color=#CC3333]Button =#A500AF(Villain)/ raises to $0.7</font>, [color=#666666]2 folds</font>, Hero calls $0.30. Flop: ($1.55) , , [color=#0000FF](2 players)</font> Hero checks, [color=#CC3333]Villain bets $1.6 So with the slight overbet and preflop 3-bet, I thought it reasonable to fold here. JJ+ beats me in all cases, AQ beats me as well. It seems like all I'm beating is AK or TT. Which makes me think I ought to have laid it down preflop. Other conjecture? |

Re: Hit top pair, but now I\'m worried
You are playing 4 handed and Villain is OTB. His 4betting range is wider than normal. I'd add 66-99, AT, AJ to your range for him that you are beating. That said OOP and without better reads, it seems a tough spot.
Folding isn't a big mistake, IMHO. But I wouldn't mind a crai as this only has to work 2/3 the time (5.95/5.95+3.15) |

Re: Hit top pair, but now I\'m worried
Fold PF to his 3B. you're OOP and these are the exactly the situations we want to avoid.
