Default NL50 - draw + pair - do I have fold equity here?

looking back I think I was a little too enthusiastic on the flop. Do I have fold equity here? I guess A9 would fold but any overpair or set will call.

Is it better to just call his raise?

depends on villian. If he is aggro then I shove this everytime. If he is a nit, then I fold. If he is a payoff wizard I'll call.

Completely agree with what was already mentioned. If opponent is a nit, he will have a set/straight majority of time, leaving you with ~30% equity. If aggressive opponent, you probably have around 45%, maybe more, equity when he calls plus your fold equity.
