If something is unknowable or unknown, then it doesn't solve anything or help us understand anything if you label this problem with a name and a concept and then declare that you believe in it.

This is basically materialism correct, where nothing exists except that is matter??? So your saying if I have to go on a belief that isn't provable or that isn't actually matter, then it's useless and doesn't exist??

What would be your answer to dreams, thoughts, or fantasies then??

If you knew for a fact God exists, how could u go against God ever?

Takes faith to believe in God.

Also takes faith to believe in evolution...to believe that 13.7billion years ago a small circle of dense mass and energy spun itself into a big bang and the galaxies were formed...where did that dot of mass come from...what was before the dot of mass...or did the dot of mass exist always and forever...

i wondered if the atheist could hit the rewind button on life/existence...when would the tape stop and what would be at the beginning...what would be before that point?

We are talking about knowledge here. If we try to understand dreams, then we define things, we use meaningful concepts, we describe mechanisms and relationships, causations, predictions, etc. If you do not do any of this, then you are not interested in understanding dreams.
