Default [50NL] TPTK on flop; scary turn.. c-bet again?

Ultimate Bet - No Limit Hold'em Cash Game - $0.25/$0.50 Blinds - 6 Players

SB: $49.60
BB: $45.10
<font color="red">Hero (UTG)</font>: $78.05
MP: $15.60
CO: $10.75
<font color="green">BTN</font>: $66.60 ------&gt; 74.2/4.5/1.7(50)

Preflop: Hero is dealt (6 Players)
<font color="red">Hero raises to $1.75</font>, 2 folds, <font color="green">BTN calls $1.75</font>, SB calls $1.50, BB folds

Flop: ($5.75) (3 Players)
SB checks, <font color="red">Hero bets $4.00</font>, <font color="green">BTN calls $4.00</font>, SB folds

Turn: ($13.75) (2 Players)
Hero??

I'm really bad with making optimal decisions on the turn. This one is no exception.

What do I do here? Bet again despite the scary K? Or check for pot control?

A while ago there was an article which I can't seem to find, because I'm not sure if it was by Pokey, Isura.. or some of the other Carpal Tunnel.
The article was about turn betting/play, does someone have it bookmarked? I need to revise it and read it again.. it was posted either here or in SSNL.. there are so many posts, even with searching I don't get any accurate results

Being OOP sucks in this spot I think. I bet half pot here. Remember this card also looks scary to villian. I'm folding to a decent raise tough.

I agree; the K looks scary for him too.. betting 1/2 or 3/4 the pot is a good option.

Turn: ($13.75) (2 Players)
<font color="red">Hero checks</font>, <font color="green">BTN bets $13.75</font>, Hero??

Now what?

Yeah, I'd probably go a bit more than half -- say, $8 or $9. If villain raises that, I'm done with the hand. I'm expecting that this bet will fold all worse hands and get called or raised by all better hands, but it's still a good bet since it prevents a bluff that will surely blow me off what is likely the best hand. It also prevents unpleasant and difficult decisions if I check and he bets -- he's going to bet VERY often, and I'm really not going to like having to call and still face a river betting round.

As to the article you mentioned, vanoff, I believe you're talking about my Valuetown post from about a month ago -- I hope it helps.

I think bet/fold on the turn is good, as pokey said bet ~8/9, if raised we're done, if called, river is likely c/f dependent on bet sizing. I think the K can actually be a good card, there are very few Kx hands villain shows up with here in a raised pot. AK would usually 3bet pre, KQ is possible, KJ unlikely. Villain is more likely to hold TT 99 88 77 87s JTs QJs in this spot.
