Re: AQs flops combodraw
When I want to felt a combodraw I want to make the last bet which you can't here, so that's an extra argument for calling, right? I furthermore think he's not folding much on this flop, this hits his 5% range quite good.

Re: AQs flops combodraw
but if we miss the turn my equity drops. Sure this flop has hit him, but he probably has TP only, so we have some FE and against TP we are a slight favorite, so I dont see a reason to call the flop, we want to get it in here, right?
Besides that, next time I will have a set in this situation and he will pay me off as well. |

Re: AQs flops combodraw
nh I think you played it perfect.
against a normal villain I 3bet this pre, but against a guy with a 5% pfr you played it perfect. |

Re: AQs flops combodraw
Maybe my line is weak, I would call here because his tight raising range, I think we have 9 outs only I dont want a coinflip against someone who has a 5 PFR

Re: AQs flops combodraw
even if villain was more aggressive I still call w/ position here pretty often. I'll be more inclined to 3bet if the blinds are squeezing often.
on the flop you can't go wrong. i actually like Casper's idea of just calling a lot tho. yes our equity drops when we brick the turn but the hands we are trying to fold out w/ a raise are QQ/JJ type hands which we will be able to move them off of on the turn anyway, and since we are in position it will be easier to extract value when we hit than if we were oop. |
