Default results and a question

After the turn shove UTG laid down. I deliberated for a little, knowing I was going to muck, which I did. Cutoff then triumphantly tabled 109 off.

Clearly I got outplayed here, but was there anyway to avoid this short of betting the flop? Cutoff may well have floated the flop with his hand if he's willing to call two raises PF. Was this result basically inevitable given the PF action and the flop? If cutoff is willing to call two raises with 109o then his range is too wide and I gave him too much respect, but I didn't have this info at the time.

THanks

Leon

True dat, but in completely results-oriented mode he did drag the pot. I committed the biggest FTP mistake with the turn muck.

Dude, a turn muck is insanely standard here. Your turn bet is just terrible.
