Re: QQ deep, what do I do here?
I re raise because we are OOP and want to make our post flop decisions as easy as possible.
If we re raise and he shoves then I think it is a call. Hands like JJ/TT can show up using his line. |

Why completely disregard AK as a possibility? |

Re: QQ deep, what do I do here?
why do people think AA/KK is not a possibility. It definitley is imo for a lot of reasons. I saw this play twice yesterday in the same exact scenario and villain showed up with AA.
if hero is fairly active like I know him to be, BB knows hes 3balling the SB over a CO raise a lot here with air and if villain never 4bets which most players do not, calling here is pretty likely whether its good or bad. |

Re: QQ deep, what do I do here?
What about a min raise in this spot, it makes AK fold in a hurry, it represents a monster and if we are shoved over or cc we will know for sure we are beat. All that without committing to much chips in the pot.

[/ QUOTE ] Because every time I ever see a SB/BB do this retarded move of cold-calling a 3-bet, it's with 22-QQ or AK. And 22-99 only if they suck. But if BB is aware that CO shoves often here, this could be KK+, I agree. I hate calling here because your hand is face up. I'd rather shove than call or 4-bet smaller than shoving. |

[/ QUOTE ] disagree. if we take certain postflop lines, maybe, but calling here when he is almost never repopping hardly leaves us face up. i'd still probably repop. you don't have to go 3x or anything "standard", but keep in mind your sizing will have a lot to do with how he reacts. |
