Re: AP, rigged, etc. #8981.4 - there was no superuser account
Meanwhile we know there were at least two 150Ks that were cheated in.
Steamroller, Payup, and Potripper do not appear as cashing in any of those. That leaves them unaccounted for at this point. |

Re: AP, rigged, etc. #8981.4 - there was no superuser account
[ QUOTE ]
Just FYI, someone actually decompiled the AP client and told me that there was not a mechanism in the client for receiving hole cards. I don't know if he wants me to mention him by name, so I'll err on the safe side and not reveal it. I am pretty sure that the hole cards were not received by the client. What the de-compilation told me lined up with what my sources told me. [/ QUOTE ] We don't really need to trust sources. There is just no way anybody making a poker client would ever send all the hole cards. While retards are apparently running the company, there is no way any software developer would ever do that. I think it is likely there exists a "backdoor" or "superuser" account, and common sense would put it all server side. The authenticated user gets his/her own hole cards, however if certain "superuser" accounts are observing a table it is very possible the server sends them all the hole cards. Simple to develop, secure for commmon gameplay and best yet impossible to detect because nobody can touch the server side code. |

Re: AP, rigged, etc. #8981.4 - the plot thickens
FYI
For the week of 10/15 - 10/21...where the industry rose a total of 1.2%, Absolute dropped 5.1%, which equated to a .2% loss of market share. The week prior Absolute rose 6.1% where the market increased 3.1%. Given the normal fluctuations (bonuses, reloads, seasonality) it doesnt appear Absolute was affected much last week. |

[/ QUOTE ] Actually, an analogous mistake was made by software developers for what was the leading backgammon server. It sent the rolls out in pairs, which decreased the amount of lag. Someone found the extra information and cheated using it. They were able to see what the next roll was going to be. |

There is probably a special version of the client made for seeing hole cards if you're on the right account. [/ QUOTE ] what would you call that account if you could give it a name? |

Re: AP, rigged, etc. #8981.4 - there was no superuser account
I've been hoping for something like that for a couple hours now.
fwiw- the 1Ks won by Payup and Potripper are known payouts at this point- and according to dipthrong at P5s at least two 150Ks he played in. |
