To extend your metaphor a bit, many here seem to have concluded that 363's role in the heist was to be the getaway driver. That may be true, but it may also be true that 363 was really a lookout, or the crew boss, or the QA inspector for the crooks. There may have been a different driver.

Sure, but not everybody who hears the term thinks of that type of account. Some think it means poker account, not internal AP computer system account.

"Superuser" is convenient in that it covers both possible types of unauthorized access. Its two possible meanings however can lead people to make assumptions which may not be true.

I think it's quite clear we have defined the term "superuser" as meaning "the as-yet unknown mechanism by which the hole-card info was transmitted".

To continue to debate this here is a derailment of the topic.

If you think that we were interchanging superuser for both 1 and 2 you are only partly right.

Both have been mentioned- but assuming most people think it is one or the other is a stretch you seem to be making to make a point.

The reason people are using "superuser" is because the guy could see the hole cards.

The fact that it could have been someone who merely had/accessed account #363 instead of actually USING account #363 is a distinction you seem to be making.
The argument is user 363 is in on the super using. Not "he's using his superuser account which is double top secret tech they don't hand out to everyone."
