Quick question for WPX regulars.

This past week during the return to 100% rakeback I accumulated $75+ in rakeback for the first time
which was paid on Monday Oct. 22nd. I tried to register for the Tuesday VIP $5K added tourney tonight but received a message that I hadn't accumulated $75 in rakeback the past week.

Is this a mistake or am I just not eligible for the Vip tourney?

Nevermind, after trying to register 5 times prior to this post and being denied I tried again and my registration was accepted. Must have been a problem on their end.

the 5k gauranteed VIP starting right now has 181 people in it. This is the most # of entries I've seen thus far.

This is just a guess, but I suspect you needed to earn a minimum of $100 over this past week to qualify for the tournaments.
Typically you have to generate a minimum of $100 in rake, of which you get back 75% ($75). This past week as you know, we received 100% rakeback. Sounds like the notice you received indicating you did not generate enough rake just wasn't updated to reflect 100% rakeback week.

Edited to add: Either that or Must have been a problem on their end.
