poker = porn = terror ?
I was at Panera, a chain sandwich shop which offers free wireless internet. Of course, I can't eat without checking up on the poker happenings. Here's what popped up on my browser when I tried to go to my usual site: --------- The SonicWALL Content Filter Has Blocked this site. If you feel this site has been blocked in error, Please submit a URL Rating Review at: http://cfssupport.sonicwall.com URL: http://www.cardplayer.com/ Reason for restriction: Forbidden Category "Other" ------------- Pokernews.com, pokertube.com and highstakesreport.com were also blocked. Cardrunners.com was allowed and so was 2p2. Strangely enough, I could access FTP and play, though I suspect the firewall gave me some bad hands.... I was tempted to try to navigate to some porn or Islamic-terror websites to see if they were blocked, also, but I didn't cuz I didn't want to get redflagged by the FBI/NSA/manager. Anyone else run into these firewall issues? Is this type of private-sector censorship a growing trend? Or you think this is something Sonicwall is likely to change should people (politely) voice enough concern? |

Re: poker = porn = terror ?
Yeah, Panera blocks poker sites, but Full Tilt worked the last time I tried.
