Re: QQ nl50
Tough position without reads...general range here for villain's line is most pairs,(after the flop call probably 8s and up) AK, maybe even AQ, and AJ quite possibly. Hard to say what hands you beat he'd call with on turn without the read. If it was me, and I have no idea how villain plays, I'd just check this I guess, but you most likely have him beat, if he had a big hand he'd probably reraise preflop, probably just has a midpair...actually now I'm leaning more towards firing another, curious to see what others think.

Re: QQ nl50
I like firing the second barrel here, but without any reads we don't know what we're up against. UTG R/C preflop, calls a 2/3rd donkbet on the flop. His hand is either a good hand or a good draw. I don't think we can narrow his range down further until we see some turn action. I would be $15 on the turn and reevaluate.

Pilket [/ QUOTE ] The flop bet is a fine continuation bet, don't see how it's a "donkbet"...if the original raiser UTG had bet the flop in this situation, it would be a donkbet... Not a good idea to get half your stick to re-evaluate...if you bet 15 on the turn and get pushed...you'd pretty much have to call...you'd check here to try to make your decision easier on the river considering you have position. |
