In fact, I think these would be my BCS projections right now: BCS Championship: Oregon (11-1) vs. Oklahoma (12-1) Rose Bowl: LSU (11-2) vs. Michigan (10-2) Sugar Bowl: Florida (11-2) vs. Missouri (10-2) Fiesta Bowl: Ohio State (11-1) vs. South Florida (11-1) Orange Bowl: Boston College (11-2) vs. West Virginia (11-1) [/ QUOTE ] I assume you think no Pac-10 team is going to come out with two losses? If a Pac-10 team is in the title game, it's a near lock the Rose Bowl would take a two loss Pac-10 team ahead of LSU, and 50/50 for a three loss Pac-10 team. |

No need for 2 loss USC to hop BC, the Rose Bowl will definitely take them over LSU. |

Big week coming up. Every team in the BCS top 11 is playing a game they can lose except LSU. They have a bye.
#1 Ohio State (-3.5) at #25 Penn State #2 Boston College at #8 Virgina Tech (-3) #21 California at #4 Arizona State (-3) #12 Southern California at #5 Oregon (-3) #7 West Virgina (-6.5) at Rutgers #9 Kansas (-2.5) at Texas A&M #10 South Florida (-4.5) at #23 Conneticut #11 Florida at #18 Georgia (off) Florida will be favored by what, 5? Why isn't this game in Jacksonville any more? The expectation has to be that two of the top five will lose AGAIN!!! |

One other thing from your teams that have a shot if they win out iggy, what about UCLA? They still have not lost in the Pac 10. If they (unlikely) run the table, they are in the hunt for sure. I am shocked that UCLA has not made the top 25 with the voters or 80% of the people in this thread. [/ QUOTE ] Losing to ND (and Utah) = automatic banishment from the top 25. That is far worse than Michigan losing to Appy State. |

[/ QUOTE ] If the Sagarin Predictor means anything Vtech is wildly overrated, as is BC, but they (BC) won't lose. I don't think Ohio State loses either but I don't know I haven't watched entirely enough football from either team to make a guranteed prediction. So I guess if two teams do lose its going to be Oregon and ASU. I don't think it will hurt the Pac 10 as both Cal and USC will move further up and ASU and Oregon won't drop that much. This week is going to be crazy I can't wait. I'm going to have to make an effort to stay sober after the USC game to watch the evening games |

[/ QUOTE ] If USC is eligible as a BCS at large, they would certainly get an at-large bid over BC. However, in his projection, BC is the ACC champion, and thus has an auto bid, regardless of where USC and BC end up with each other. As an Oklahoma fan, I would LOVE a rematch with Oregon for the national championship, provided it doesn't come down to an onside kick. |

Can't we factor Mark Mangino's fatness into these somehow since he'll probably throw a few games at the end due to hunger? I mean look at Weis this year, it's obv what he's doing.
