I 5 bet him because I couldn't imagine him cold calling preflop with K8,K7,K6. I felt 66 might be the hand. KK entered my mind after he put in the sixth bet.

He had KK.

Obviously he played this hand very deceptively and finished me off for the night. Thats the most I have ever lost in one hand at 8-16.

I agree I should have bet the turn I just outthought myself.

By the way, it seems to be in vogue to cold call with big pairs these days even in multiway pots. Is this something you guys are seeing? I am also seeing a lot more limping with these hands.

I saw this at Casino AZ when I was there last month, but I only rarely see it in WA or CA.

This was at Casino AZ. Maybe it is a trend here.
