he has OESD and 3rd nut flush draw - i dunno how he plays but it wouldnt shock me if he was planning on snapping your bet anyway if he was vaguely close to average skill wise.

But he thinks - correctly - that I'm making a move, and his hand is either still good or will become good on the river, so he doesn't want to fold. Instead, he flicks off his Internet connection, and flicks it back on a minute later to see how he did. Perfectly proper behaviour on Betfred!

Perhaps when you come down off tilt you'll realize that there is the possibility he was disconnected legitimately. I was pretty disappointed to find your post was about one hand. ONE HAND!!! I was expecting you to be showing 3 or 4 times it happened to you...one time could easily be coincidental. Did it suck? Yes. Is there a good chance it was done on purpose? Yes. Is there a 100% chance that he was cheating? No, absolutely not. Having his DP taken away sounds like the most severe reaction you could expect from ANY site, IMO.

Man, I hate to see how long your tilt lasts when a guy hits a 1-outer against you then, because I think that the chances his disconnect was legit have to be greater than the odds of hitting a 1-outer.

Yeah, like Bobo says, 1 hand is an event, 2 hands is a coincidence and 3+ hands is a pattern.

Ill quote it again:

[ QUOTE ]
The outcome of the investigation that was completed was provided to the player. It clearly showed that the player in question is an established player who does not have any previous history of abuse.

I don't see how you can expect them to take action without a pattern of some sort to go on.

Ive never played poker at betfair but i did do the sign up bonus at their casino and man is their server/software bad.
I was getting disconnected at least once an hour at the blackjack tables only to finally get back in and see i had busted out (you dont 'stand' when you disconnect you keep on receiving cards until you bust.)

While it does look dodgy Jimm, i think you do need more than one example at least the took away his all in protection.
