Default Overpairs against check on the turn

Poker Room skin
Limit Holdem Ring game
Limit: $1/$2

Pre-flop: (5 players) Hero is Button with J[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] J[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img]
<font color="#cc0000">UTG raises</font>, CO folds, <font color="#cc0000">Hero 3-bets</font>, 2 folds, <font color="#cc0000">UTG caps</font>, Hero calls.

Flop: 9[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] 4[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] 3[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] (9.5SB, 2 players)
UTG checks, <font color="#cc0000">Hero bets</font>, <font color="#cc0000">UTG raises</font>, <font color="#cc0000">Hero 3-bets</font>, <font color="#cc0000">UTG caps</font>, Hero calls.

Turn: 5[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] (8.75BB, 2 players)
UTG checks, <font color="#cc0000">Hero bets ... ??</font>,

The opponent played loose-aggresive preflop but turned passive after flop.

I have 2 questions:
a. Is it ok to 3 bet the flop?
b. bet or check behind the turn? I must prevent my hand against AK or AQ

the flop 3bet is bad
if he is c/r with any overpair and any big flush draw you are far behind his range

just call down from his c/r

Board: 9c 4h 3h

Hand 0: 30.282% { JcJs }
Hand 1: 69.718% { TT+, AhKh, AhQh }

you can mess around with those ranges a bit but you're still going to be in bad shape

Can't make sense of the way villain played this hand given your read.

I wouldn't 3-bet the flop especially if you really consider him to be passive postflop. His line screams strength.

Honestly have no clue what to do on the turn. AhKh or AhQh are plausible I guess, but he could just as easily have AA or 99.

You have almost nothing to lose against A [img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img]K [img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img], if you give the free card, but you loose 2BB if you bet against an overpair or better.

once that guy check raises the flop, all you have is a crying call down.

If he caps PF, and bets the flop, I would be tempted to just raise/call the flop, and call down, or just call down period.
