Re: Thoughts on coaching rates/quality
Decent post.. however UNL guys can't afford to get coaching at at the hourly rate of an MSNL person.
What guy playing 25$ NL can afford 200$ an hour? It's probably not even worth it for a him at that rate. That's why I think tiered structuring is definitely beneficial. Also take into account that hourly rates are pretty and all, but you can't really consider one hour coaching as one hour of lost playing. I know I personally can't play more than 20-30 hours a week. |

If he wants to learn to beat 100nl then he wouldn't be paying this. He isn't (Shouldn't at least) be going 25nl -> 600nl and thus wouldn't be paying said prices. |

Re: Thoughts on coaching rates/quality
my hourly has been about 550 (for 2/4-10/20, much less if you count nosebleed shots ) for the past 450 or so hours, but i only charge 350/hr for coaching. i think it should be higher than my hourly though and i might end up increasing it in the future.

Re: Thoughts on coaching rates/quality
I think coaching rates should be < then winrates. Reasons being:
- Coaching is relatively easy money w/o variance. - During a coaching agreement, the mentor is learning aswell. It doesn't work one way. |
