I know I'm going to sound like a 'tard here, but... ...Early in the Gagne saga, I heard a scout say that Gagne's problem was that he wasn't throwing his change-up. That's supposed to be his best pitch, and he just wasn't throwing it. I know I saw a few change-ups tonight--and he coasted to an easy 1-2-3 inning. Here comes the 'tard part: I really think Gagne might contribute to this championship run, and actually EARN his player's share. [/ QUOTE ] Or it could be that Cleveland down 12-2 had given up. But it's remotely possible that he gets onto the WS roster. Before that 123 inning last night there was no way. But then he has to get a chance with the game on the line and I don't think Tito puts him into that situation. But who knows strange things sometimes happen. In 04, DLowe was the last option and he ended up one of the pitching heroes. |

(I've been to a few road games since then.) |

Re: ALCS - Indians vs Red Sox
i saw that coco was like 6-8 vs westbrook so id v surprised if it wasnt him
i think the ellsbury thing was just a manager trying to shake things up (which is code speak for a manager being annoyed that he has no control over [censored]) and not really a new evaluation of coco v ellsbury |

I'll be mildly pissed if Ellsbury isn't in there tonight. |
