Fact is, it can make people do strange things....e.g. raising junk hands or calling down with top pair when the board is ten high. There are times where I dont want the BB to just throw thei hand away. I want them to plat a weak hand oop position against me when I have a strong hand. Will you run into coolers? Sure, but more often, you have position, you have a strong hand, and your doing it vs. weak players. Everyone seems to think.."hey, come to my table? Why..what are you gonna do if I min raise you otb? What will you do if I open limp otb....well, once you start reacting based on my actions, now I am really the one who is manipulating your action.
