lol im a moron. i thought you were being squeezed, not the coldcaller. if youd 3bet smallish here, id put you on air or a small PP. (55-99)

4bet, and ok.

[/ QUOTE ]
oh yeah, 4bet, sry. would you ever coldcall a big pair or AK to induce a squeeze? i figure you would, does villain know this?

[/ QUOTE ]

who cares if he does

[/ QUOTE ]
well, then hell more than likely read it as weakness. this is esp. because we coldcalled and werent the original raiser.

in terms of showing strength:

shove > call and showing strength on flop > 4betting

as for which i'd do, i wouldn't call pf, but given you have, i'd probs shove for meta.

because he will assume your hand is JJ/AQ or worse and play perfectly against that range.

calling pre seems for me the best option. but even folding is sure not wrong here. ATs is not so good against the range of a reraise as maybe some thinking.
if he has TT+, AK,AQ,AJ we are in very bad shape.

Honestly this just seems like a math problem to me in regards to 4 bet call shove/fold debate. Figure out his repop range and then figure he will only push over the top with TT+ AK, AQs and see how that EV stacks up vs ATs.

Honestly all the choices you provided kinda suck, so I might just fold, and start coldcalling some big PPs to [censored] with him. He prob. wont adjust to your coldcall 4 bet range and will still give you credit for AT every once in awhile even if you never do it without JJ+ imo. People arent that good at poker.

why even ask if youre gonna disagree/get tilted when lots of posters (amongst them pretty well respected ones) advocate another line you and jones would take?

youre right, it was just the tone of several responses. i agree with lefort, djsensei and others regarding this hand. i just think that a lot of the discussion is pretty irrelevant and more focused on "no matter what you do, any good player will outplay you" sort of thing.

but ya youre right.

4 betting would be horrendous unless you love to call reraise on the button a lot with big pairs which i doubt you do.Best option is fold, failing that call.
