Re: 2 pair and FD facing turn check raise
Instashove, because you've got 2 pair and a FD facing a turn check/raise.

Re: 2 pair and FD facing turn check raise
I s'pose you've gotta get it in here. His line makes no sense, given the drawyness of the board sets and 2pairs should be getting it in on the flop. I think most likely he sucks with QJ.

Only hand to be worried about is KJ(non spades). SHOVE

Re: 2 pair and FD facing turn check raise
he can't have JK or QT here or a badly played set? We have 2 pair here, but the only other likely 2 pair hand QT beats us, as do the sets and straights. I'm probably getting it in here but not really loving it.

Re: 2 pair and FD facing turn check raise
He's really passive (1.7 AF) and his line looks very strong. I have 2 pair and FD but what part of his range do I beat?

Re: 2 pair and FD facing turn check raise
I usually call the flop, but it's a bit depending on the guys left to act. If you really want to raise don't make it so big.
Now stack off. |

I wanted to build a pot, but now I think I should raise less. On the turn I can't see a single hand that I beat. Why stack off here? What do I beat? T9 is very unlikely,AQ, AA KK, either... |

When you get called most of your TP value has gone down the drain and you're now hoping to hit 2-pair+. Unless villain has a draw. [ QUOTE ] On the turn I can't see a single hand that I beat. Why stack off here? What do I beat? T9 is very unlikely,AQ, AA KK, either... [/ QUOTE ] You have 13 outs vs his most likely hand, the odds of hitting is 2.5:1. Your pot odds is 2:1. You don't really need to be ahead that often. I ain't gonna do a calc, but not often at all. And I don't think you should bet unless you're stacking off with this hand. |
