Caesar\'s $1500: Overpair on Second Hand
Caesar's Poker Classic $1500+70, 3500 starting stacks, 25/25. This is the second hand. I raise to 100 from UTG+1 with QQ, 1 caller. Villain is an old guy, probably late 60's, early 70's. Flop: 6 4 2, 2 clubs. I bet 150, Villain calls quickly. Turn: 3, not a club or the other suit on board. I check, Villain bets 350, I call. River: A, not a club. I check, Villain bets 650. Hero? Looking for thoughts on turn, river.

Re: Caesar\'s $1500: Overpair on Second Hand
Fine as played.
I call turn. He's likely to shut down if he misses and you can just check it down keeping pot small. River I fold. Damage so far is 600 = 12M. You have 70M. If you call river damage is 1250 = 25M, more than 1/3 of your stack. I see villain on A2,A3,A4,A5,A6 a lot. |

I like betting the turn. Get value out of worst hands, if he raises I insta muck. He is old, probably a nit, don't think he is jamming a non set on the turn. I like blocker betting the river; like 1/3rd-1/4th pot.
