Re: NL5, TT
Preflop raise is fine, and I think I would call his reraise too.
You should reraise the flop too see if he just Cbet his overcards or really has a decent hand (villain wouldnt reraise a hand with an 8, unless its 88 or he is a complete donk) The turn i think made this a muck. Reads would be good here, is this one of the few decent players at this level or does he raise and bet alot? Otherwise i like your line, and since SS players like to play most aces, i think a fold on the river aint that bad, you shouldve played back on the flop if any any street IMO. |

You could try to represent the ace or the 8, but I don't think you have enough fold equity to at this level. If I decided to for whatever reason, I'd probably push the river. In actuality, I probably would have played the hand the same as you. My two cents... I suck at NL ring though. |

I think the hand was fine. Maybe if this persists and you notice he bet/folds, then you can try to sneak in a bluff. As it stands though, I'd give him credit. |

Re: NL5, TT
The check on the turn sure looks like the ace scared him. I'd pause just long enough to let him click the "fold to any bet" and then fire a bet at him. At low levels there's a decent chance he folds.
