either we have proof or it's getting shut down, because I'm not about to drag half of the Absolute playerbase into this in a thread with mass media exposure where being proven wrong can potentially be a big problem. facts or nothing.

adanthar,

What does this statement mean? By proof can posters say 'Jim Kuhn played two tournies on AP. He won a $1 touney for $257 and he won a $500 tourney for $50,000. What do you guys think?' Personally, I think any player on AP that won a major tourney or had large cash game wins should be under review. Most would not be implicated but that is why there is a review process. JMHO

Thank you,

Jim Kuhn

Adanthar I took that (what I wrote) directly from the tribe.
And it's not random speculation about Tokwiro owning Absolute. It's on their site.

I'm doing zero speculating about "other things". I'm simply pointing out the commission investigating/auditing this situation is auditing themselves.

About this 363 user:

Is it possible that this was an initial tester that was able to see all the hole cards?

If they were testing the RNGs at one STT, it would be cheaper to test the RNG if only one person was watching and keeping records, while the other users were all AIs. If there was nine different people recording, then there would have to be one central manager who they could all contact and converse as quickly as possible.

Great work everyone. Have people been looking at their PokerTracker databases for other cheaters? I think by pulling up the summary tab and sorting on vp$ip (click on those letters) you can sort by preflp calling %. If someone has a very high preflop calling %, are big winners and have played many hands they could be a suspect. Another column to review is the w$sd. You would have an unusually high winning rate at showdown if you can see all of the hands.

These idiots could have utilized this cheating tool forever if they were smart about it. They could play $5/$10 no limit 'normally' and utilize 'the extra information' one time per day on a $1,000 pot. Do this on four or five accounts and you make several thousand dollars per day. Throw in some big tourney wins and cover play and it would be easy to make a couple of extra million dollars per year. These idiots calling 90% preflop and calling all in bluffs with nothing totally amaze me. Can any person really be that stupid?
How are other major poker sites preventing this from happening on their sites? It would be nice to see statements from PokerStars, Bodog, Full Tilt, etc. Their lack of statements or reassurances also personally disturb me. Crickets?

Thank you,

Jim Kuhn

I think any person could be so stupid, but how could people that are so high in the operations of this poker site be so stupid?

I think this is the biggest "hole" about this story.

Given how the play of POTRIPPER has been reported, surely they would know they would be caught cheating, and if they did want to be caught cheating, why?

Are they "whistleblowers"? Is this just the tip of the iceberg?

THE PLAYERS
--------------------------
ABSOLUTE POKER
"Absolute Poker and the Absolute Poker website are solely owned and operated by Tokwiro Enterprises ENRG, Route 138, Kahnawake, Quebec J0L 1B0. Tokwiro Enterprises ENRG is owned by a Mohawk of Kahnawake and is operated from the sovereign nation of the Mohawks of Kahnawake, located near Montreal Quebec."

[/ QUOTE ]
Here's some more info that was sent to me about Tokwiro:

"According to the Quebec Business Registrar, Tokwiro Enterprises Enrg belongs fully to Joe Norton.

Joe Norton is the former chief of the Kahnawake Council AND the founder of the Kahnawake Gaming Commission. He is also involved in the Mohawk Internet technologies, the company that is hosting most of the online casinos registered with the KGC.

His full name is Joseph Tokwiro Norton."

I was also given this link http://www.registreentreprises.gouv....n/default.aspx

Apparently it contains a lot of info about Joe Norton, but a lot of what I've found is in french and I can't understand it. But I can tell that people here will be able to find a lot of info there, get looking.

Just doing some searches on their dossiers, and this one seemed kinda interesting.. Scott Tom = Tom Scott?

Being French, like it has already been said, this is more likely Tom Scott and not Scott Tom. It's a business dealing with electricity & tools. Not related.

No wonder I'm down on Absolute in MTTs.

It's time to take all the hard evidence, put in a nice neat package and ship it to:

A) all the major news networks and newspapers with the offer to provide interviews with Nat, Josem, etc.

[/ QUOTE ]

Why?

Seriously, I don't know why you would want this to happen.

Ike, the known cheating accounts have won several tournaments.

We only have the master HH file for one, the POTRIPPER tournament.
