There is no easy answer, and it is difficult to play against players who do this well. 4-betting ligher is obviously something to consider. It can be tricky, depending on stack sizes, because you often only need 30%-33% equity to call if they then push and a lot of hands are marginal in that case (especially if we are talking about late position/shorter handed action).
Sometimes I just call the 3-bet with the intention of c/r a/i most flops. Sounds like a tilty response but it actually isn't as bad as it sounds. |
