Re: 27$ - Pwning the bubble
They have to be pretty tight to make this profitable according to sngwiz.

Re: 27$ - Pwning the bubble
Seems awfully high-variance, especially if BB might be a moron, and given that SB should call really wide and when he does and beats you you become the short stack who shoved 54s.

Re: 27$ - Pwning the bubble
I like it and play this way often, but I think the amount of times you've pushed/stolen blinds in the past determine how loose you'll be called. After showing down decent hands and playing tight I think this is good. Though if you've shown bad hands or are winning without showdown a lot, people may be suspicious and call enough for it to be a fold.
In a vacuum I could post a number of individual hands like this where people would say shove, it's good, they can't call. But if they all happened one after another in a HH, people would probably recommend passing on some of them. Folding some of these 'near any-2 pwning' spots sometimes when they come up is necessary to keep it profitable when you do use them. |

Re: 27$ - Pwning the bubble
Dont really like it, small blind should be calling due to the excellent odds he's getting from the pot, and your hand sucks. Flip sb and utg obviously its a lot different.

Re: 27$ - Pwning the bubble
SB seems a little too short here. I think he opens up his range more (or should) b/c he's trailing in chips by 2k. It's pretty borderline for me...
