I've played a ton of NL and I can beat it at a decent rate (+4ptbb at up to NL200 over a large sample).

I also play LHE (6max and FR live) and I can't tear myself away from that game. I'm a lifetime loser at online LHE, but I'm steadily getting better.

Am I dumb for not just focusing on NL? I'm pretty sure a winning player has a bigger edge there (i've estimated it's about double given standard winrates) but I just like the LHE game so much more. NL with non-deep stacks (100BB) seems like it's almost all about preflop these days with all the light 3-betting, light 4-betting etc.

I've justified my position to myself before by reasoning that it's good to know all the games to be able to pick the best ones at all times, but it's just a coverup for doing what I want. I've also wondered whether the very reason I try and try to beat lhe is because I haven't been able to before and I really want to be a winning player there.

definitely not dumb. sticking to what u enjoy is definitely a good decision. personally i cant stand LHE anymore so i dont play it at all. but its definitely good to have lots of games in ur arsenal and if u enjoy LHE the most, obviously u should have it as your main game. should be noted tho that if u focus on beating NL for more and improving your game, u will probably find it way more stimulating than u do right now. u cant compare LHE heaters to the massive 35 buyin days at HSNL ive had.

Luego,

Do you have to use racially offensive terminology in your posts ?

This is a type of spot where I disagree with a lot of solid posters. Unknownish 200NL TAG raises from CO, we call QJs otb. Flop comes Q94r, we call his cbet. Turn comes a blank 2. He bets again. Can we call here and fold to a decent river bet on a blank card, or should we be folding turn if we are folding a blank river?

Can't believe any solid posters disagree with this. Obviously you can call once without having to call river. Wtf?

Say you call a pre flop raise in position with two cards, HU to the flop.

The flop comes and kinda misses you (8 or fewer outs), villain cbets.

If you could only float or raise in this spot, what are the biggest factors which determine which one you choose?

Things that pop to mind are
1) Flop texture (Which flops are better for floating IP and which are better for raising)
2) Villains cbet and double barrel frequency
3) The relative strength of your hand (are you more likely to semibluff raise with an 8 out OESD or just call behind with it? How about pure air?)

Basically I don't win enough pots in this spot and I tend to float way way more than I bluff raise the flop, and I need to plug the leak.

Luegofuego!

I've really noticed what you mentioned earlier about players who crush the game having a really high W$WSF... mine is currently hovering around 39 and im wondering what tips you could give on bringing this up without being a total spewtard...

It seems to me that the key to crushing the game really lies in this stat because when it comes down to it anyone can be a winning player by just being patient but in order to crush another winning player you gotta have a high W$WSF. It would be really great if you could write an article on the subject, im sure it would go down in the 2+2 record books if done properly.

Also, could you post a screen shot of your play by position?

One more random question: how tall are you?

Cheers!

Let's try and get a lil' more life out of this Well, I'm resurrecting some questions that good ol' epdaws made standard in previous wells

1. What are the last five songs you've listened to?

2. What is the first concert you've ever been to?

3. Favorite movie and TV show?

4. What political party do you belong to?

5. Favorite European country besides Sweden?

6. When I travel to Sweden, which restaurant should I make sure to go to?

7. Which 2p2ers have you met in person?

8. Who is the hottest female on the planet?

9. Live man or dead woman?

Can you give me an example in which you explain your thought process for that given hand?

[/ QUOTE ]

tbh its mostly "wow this nig nog is weak, i bet and if he calls, im betting river", or "[censored] he likes his hand, better folds" or "goddamn ur floating me a lot ese, who do u take me for, i checkraise allin" i am sure the subconscious analysis is deeper than that, but thats what i am thinking on any given hand. if u want more specific examples, u gotta give more specific questions tho.

awesome well.
