Re: Cheating at AP, updated cliff notes
[ QUOTE ]
Anyone still thinking of the prop accusations? [/ QUOTE ] I propped at AP a couple years ago. I know of two other props, besides myself, who were suspicious we were being cheated. I saw reference to this idea in an earlier thread that implied there have been posts about this on 2+2 in the past. I tried searching for these posts, but could not find anything. I would be interested in what others have said about their experiences and possible sharing database information to see if we can come up with anything (doubtful). If props were routinely cheated at AP, it was not done as blatantly as these examples, nor for as high of stakes. It does not make sense to me why AP would want or need to cheat smaller stakes props out of cash. But I am not familiar with the cash flow challenges a new poker site may be dealing with. Is it possible the relatively small amount that could be gained from this (maybe $5-7K a week total from all props) would be worth it? Does not seem likely, but combining my experience with the evidence in this thread, I lean toward believing props were cheated also. |
