villain has been active and was three betting me enough to know he was doing it light. I was pretty lost since we were so deep and I was OOP. I thought about just folding for like half a second then called myself an idiot. call and see a flop? 4bet/fold to a shove?

also his stats were 21/16/2.24

folding would be lol bad. You could play purely for set value. 4-bet/folding is also kinda gross.

I played this one kinda scared with the "o I'm deep and OOP and will get out played so much" mentality and 4bet/folded after he shoved. in hindsight I would just call the 3bet but what would my plan be on something like a T63r flop? surely getting all in on the flop would be horrible for me but c/c then checking a blank turn again just to fold? I hate check calling two streets especially when im basically checking the river too. in that scenario should I be leading out somewhere?

since this player seems ok, I doubt he's ever gonna flat call your 4-bet with a worse hand. He's either gonna shove or fold or call and trap with AA/KK.

Thus just call the 3-bet and take a look at the flop. Very few players are going to bet the flop and bet/shove the turn deep on a T63r board with &lt;QQ so c/c flop and check turn.
