Default NL 50 SH - 2nd barrel on scarecard

A lot of floating going on.
Is the 2nd barrel okay, especially with the 8 on the turn?

I don't really like it. He could very well have called you with A8 or 98s or something. Also, if he has a PP the 8 isn't really going to scare him, but he might put you on an overpair and fold. I'd probably just c/f though... I don't think it's a very good card to 2nd barrel.

it's not a scarecard at all
it just pairs TP which means -> more or less a blank, if he got an eight, he got more confident, if he doesnt that it's less likely for you to have one

i guess it's ok to second barrell tho, he could be floating with overs and will give up now.

This is not a good card to 2nd barrel. If you think he's floating a lot and will give up then well, ok...

This is anything but a scare card. Pairing the board makes it less likely that you flopped TP, which makes this a great card for him to bluff at.
