WCOOP Main event 25/50 level
Hello,
sorry for unconventional posting but I had problem converting this hand history (was not stored in english), so I did it manually. Hero is a well known pro, iper-aggressive player. No information about Cutoff. From WCOOP 2007 main event Blind is 25/50 Seat 1: x (19075 in chips) Seat 2: x(20150 in chips) Seat 4: Cutoff (32374 in chips) Seat 5: x (28551 in chips) Seat 6: SB (18425 in chips) Seat 7: Hero (BB) (21300 in chips) Seat 8: x (20600 in chips) Seat 9: x (19525 in chips) *** HOLE CARDS *** Dealt to Hero: [5d 5c] Cutoff: raises 50 to 100 SB: calls 75 Hero: calls 50 *** FLOP *** [9s 5h 8s] SB: bets 200 Hero: raises 400 to 600 Cutoff: raises 1900 to 2500 SB: folds Hero: calls 1900 *** TURN *** [9s 5h 8s] [9d] Hero: checks Cutoff: bets 1250 Hero: raises 3150 to 4400 Cutoff: calls 3150 *** RIVER *** [9s 5h 8s 9d] [2h] Hero: ... River Action and showdown later... |

Re: WCOOP Main event 25/50 level
I don't like the c/r on the turn. He either has 99,88,98 or 76. Any good player would've laid down his AA by now.
Maybe he has 76s, so bet 5k. |

Re: WCOOP Main event 25/50 level
I recently played a $10k WPT event and watched in amazement as a well-known online pro stacked off super deep on the flop with AA vs a set. So don't make assumptions about unknown players being able to fold AA.
I would just raise again on the flop and be more then happy to get it in, even this deep. He might fold JJ or TT, but I doubt he's folding QQ+, and I want him to put it all in before a scare card slows him down on the turn. |

Re: WCOOP Main event 25/50 level
I think his most likely holding is 76 or something pretty stupid.
I'd bet for value |

*** RIVER *** [9s 5h 8s 9d] [2h] Hero: ... River Action and showdown later... [/ QUOTE ] Hero bets 7000, Cutoff raises 18374 to 25374 and is all-in Hero calls 7300 and is all-in Showdown: Hero [5d 5f] Cutoff [8h 9h] I perhaps misused the word 'Hero'... in the sense there is no 'Villain' here (I don't know exactly what means but villain doesn't seem a compliment..) However, I posted here this because this hand animated an incredible thread on a local forum. Personally I think that Hero was extremely unlucky finding himself in this scenario, but discussion started when a 'Pro' began attacking our 'hero' judging this play a fishy one (he remarks that at 400 bb is a NUT game). I think that, considered the iper-aggressive player Hero is, and that he is used to build mountain of chips both online than live playing in a unconventional way, and people know it.... Considering this I think that he played well the hand.. Of course at the river raise I suppose he could have realized something could go wrong.. but.. he was a little involved at this point... |

Re: WCOOP Main event 25/50 level
I think check/call on the turn is best, even though he bet such a [censored] small amount. You're giving him a chance to complete his hand while repping a slowplayed 9, which means when you bet the river he shoves flushes/straights if he got there.
definitely an interesting hand--nice post (-results) |
