ok i've done some more research
i seemed to have the idea that you could just run PT and whatever on the mac system thing, but you'd actually have to switch to windows and run all poker programs off the windows bit right? ie. you can't run party poker on the mac machine, then run PT/PAhud on the windows machine? thanx for ur patience, im just tryin to wrap my head around this (and looking at possibly getting a macbook pro over a dell)

Forget getting parallels or boot camp.... Look a program called CrossOver, pm me if you want that is how I play on stars. Greatest program ever.

Why not just BootCamp XP with Stars and PT? in theory you shouldn't be doing much besides playing poker while playing poker.
If you surf the net and like Safari (even though I think it's wretched) theres a PC version of that program available that you can run on the XP side.

I guess my only worry like many others is that I may not be technically sound enough to run parallels/whatever operating systme and it seems there isnt any standard out there yet is there? Or is bootcamp going to be that?
