On the flop, i thought about c/r but i can't chase a flush draw so i decide to play WA/WB style of poker. The turn is standard i think. The river, not sure what the best play is.

seems like an easy flop c/r for value, you are ahead most of the time

if CO had a very strong hand he would most likely c/r to trap the field esp with button being a maniac. also if he had AK he would have capped pre.

I read his flop lead to be a weak/mediocre hand like K9 or A7 that is looking for button to help protect it

Wow. Easy PF cap. CO is isolating a fish and button is a maniac....

Check raise the flop. CO doesnt have AK and he is prolly not betting into the maniac with sets and Aces up given his position.

Playing WA/WB isnt that great when you are mostly ahead and its 4-handed.

I would just bet out on the river. But I dunno if c/r should be the play. CO should be valuebetting a few hands for you.

I agree that my play preflop was poor. In fact, i just gave too much credit to the CO in this hand. I just call preflop to see if he would cap so i could define more accurately his hand. On the flop, i don't think he raise preflop with A8 or A9, so i put him on AK, AQ or AJ and maybe ATs. I know it's a very narrow range but i was pretty sure of myself. Do you C/R giving this range? Also it why the river was difficult for me, since i beat only ATs now...

PS CO is a winner but i don't think he was isolating the fish, he didn't play like that the first 30m. In fact just playing Tigh was enough to beat this game with two people giving their money away.

If you have that good of a read on the guy you should prolly have postet it to improve the responses.

I cant see how you can take out A9s, A8s, ATo and a bunch of other Ax hands from his range.

If you think he is that tight I dont mind your preflop play. But then he isnt good. At least not in my book.

you right about that. I found out on this hand that he wasn't agressive enough. the river was check around and i split the pot with CO, he had AhQh and didn't bet the river!!!
