I prefer the episodes where Trey and Matt aren't going ridiculously out of their way to insult someone. Episodes like the kids school news, ninjas, junior detectives, school mascot etc. haven't been around in ages.
The last episode about the giant crap was such a horrible concept, and it all ending with them just insulting Bono was so stupid

Because the problems in Africa can't be solved by money and one can argue that sending money there makes matters worse.

However, direct aid, such as Rotary's polio vaccinations do work.

But your comment does remind me of the late great Sam Kinnison's mid 1980's joke about sending aid to Somalia.

"Don't send them money. Send them U-Hauls and Samsonite luggage! They live in a sandbox. It's always been a sandbox and it always will be!"

"Hey it just occurred to us that maybe we wouldn't have to do this every year if you people would LIVE WHERE THE FOOD IS! YOU LIVE IN A DESERT ASS HOLE! NOTHING GROWS HERE NOTHINGS GONNA GROW HERE!" "Hey, I know! Let's go over the hill! There'll be no food, no way to live, no way to raise our children!"

If you have the wit of an 8 year old, maybe. Otherwise, you are just wrong.

To be honest, I thought this week's episode was weak. SP has been on a decline since season 8. But, to say the show has been unfunny in a year or that it jumped the shark 7 years ago is pretty stupid IMO. The show is still excellent, just not at its pinnacle any longer, sadly.
