Scary turn
In one of the previous hands villain called check-raise on turn with flush draw and no correct odds. Is it wise to assume him hitting straight in this hand and not bet out here:
Full Tilt Poker Pot Limit Omaha Ring game Blinds: $0.05/$0.10 6 players Converter Stack sizes: UTG: $16.60 UTG+1: $10.30 CO: $26.35 Button: $2.15 Hero: $7.25 BB: $3.45 Pre-flop: (6 players) Hero is SB with A[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] 5[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] K[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] Q[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] UTG raises to $0.2, UTG+1 folds, CO calls, Button calls, Hero calls, BB calls. Flop: A[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] K[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] 3[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] ($1, 5 players) Hero checks, BB checks, UTG bets $0.6, 2 folds, Hero raises to $2.8, BB folds, UTG calls. Re: Scary turn
I mean, it's the only reasonable draw that he would bet out and call a raise with on the flop.

Re: Scary turn
Yes, I know, but what if he has JT instead of QJ. Also, the pot is already bigger than my stack. So do you think it's fold 100% of time or less?

Re: Scary turn
It's clearly significantly less than 100%. I haven't played that low but I would assume that you're actually good in this spot a suprising amount of the time, perhaps up against some stubborn AT or something. Idunno, if properly rolled for the game, I would probably make this call more than I fold given the stack sizes.

Re: Scary turn
Usually I don't push all in on a scare card. Maybe check and see what villain does, then make a decision. Players at this level will often check behind to disguise their now nut hand, as bad as that is, I have seen it often enough.
If he puts you all in, I think you can lay down two pair, but I would felt a set. |

Re: Scary turn
I think he would never check down the turn here when hitting str8. For psychological reasons it's even worse to make a check-call here and get beaten. Don't know if I was pot commited enough to make this move on turn or should I've moved in on river in case he'd checked behind here. Anyway it seems I cannot manage situations like this correctly most of the time.

Re: Scary turn
