One Live/One Not.
See title.
hand 1. $1/2 at Borgata. I've got $350ish...lady in this hand has $127 to start the hand (it's $77 more on the turn or $117 on the flop if I put her in). two hands of history on her before I give the action...4 limpers to me I check 8 [img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img]3 [img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] in BB..flop J53 rainbow, checks around, turn 3 [img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img], I lead $8, she makes it $20, I call..river 5 [img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img], I check/call $15 and she shows KJo, MHIG. later..crazy kid on tilt raises, she calls flop is AJ10, he bets, she calls, turn 10, he bets 20 she calls, river 7, no flush possible, he bets $20, she makes it $50, he calls, she tables KQ for flopped nuts. UTG is the kid on tilt (he's down like $1000 in a variety of casino games supposedly and has been playing like 80/10 in order to "make it back"-his words). I make it $12 with A [img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img]Q [img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img], aforementioned lady calls, loose/bad guy on button with $300 calls, tilt kid calls.. Flop: Q [img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img]7 [img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img]2 [img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] crazy tilt kid leads for $15 (he's been doing this on like every flop), I call (looking to see what develops/move the tilt kid all in on any turn because he has like $100 left and I'm fully expecting him to fire the turn with anything because he's drunk, playing like a psycho), now the lady behind makes it $40, loose guy folds, tilt kid folds instantly clearly bluffing, it's on me, $25 more, $77 more if I call, $102 more if I put her in. I elected to call...turn was an offsuit 3...I check, she pushes, I call. Hand 2. Online $1/2 on Stars. CO is JonGreenway. He raises to $8, I make it $28 out of the SB with 10 [img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img]10 [img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img], BB (seems semi-donkish but hasn't been at the table long) with $128 calls, JonGreenway calls. Flop: 9 [img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img]5 [img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img]5 [img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] I check, BB pushes for $100, CO(Greenway) folds quickly, I request time and then proceed to fold. |

Re: One Live/One Not.
Hand 1. I probably push flop, but as played is fine.
Hand 2. Fold looks reasonable. |

Re: One Live/One Not.
hand 1: uh
hand 2: Greenway hates to fold, I don't 3bet him pf. As played, folding this readless is a mistake. I would've bet/called the flop, he could def. be shoving worse. |

Re: One Live/One Not.
hand 1: seems fine. live donks always get married to TP.
hand 2: i would not fold. i would bet/call, as jk3a said. |

Re: One Live/One Not.
Everyone knows Greenway folded and its the half stack that is all in right? I wasn't sure what I was beating besides a wacko AK shove (which I thought this guy might shove preflop, though I cannot be certain) or like AK hearts.
jk, what are you 3 betting Greenway with here then? |

Re: One Live/One Not.
Hand 1 is fine. If she had ducks, so be it -- be glad she wasn't full-stacked. Her range is wider than middle and bottom set, even on that dry a flop.
Hand 2: you 3-bet PF and then CHECK a flop of all undercards??? WTF kind of flop WOULD you bet there? Are you trying to give AK/AQ a free card? Bet-call that baby all day. Seriously, please explain your reasoning for checking the flop in hand 2. Hands like this might explain why you supposedly "run bad". Edit: I hypothesize that BB shoved the flop because you showed weakness by checking, and he might also believe Greenway's FOS, imo. If you lead flop, he has to think about folding 88 or maybe even JJ if he's a weak-tight nit. |

Re: One Live/One Not.
I just don't know WTF I beat when that guy coldcalls--yeah AK/AQ but I'm semi-concerned with Greenway and the coldcaller behind me. I was planning on going with it if it checked around but I hate pushing and getting instacalled by QQ by the coldcaller.
I put his range at AK,AQ,JJ-AA. What do you think he had? |

Re: One Live/One Not.
Then the coldcaller also shoved into Greenway so if hes doing that with AK/AQ then yeah, um, I guess I got outplayed.
I instacall this FWIW, if Greenway folded preflop and it was heads up. |

Re: One Live/One Not.
I probably should call hand 2 and I definitely do with JJ+ but I was seriously concerned with JJ from this guy. Its hard to tell if this guy would shove AK into greenway.
oh, and don't know how bad this is but I've been checking flops like this with KK/AA and pulling profits because guys shove with tens/JJ/88/AK once I check, but those are usually heads up pots. |

Re: One Live/One Not.
Oh..and since we are semi-working on hand 2 still and hand 1 is a consensus anybody want to guess what she had?
None of my friends from home guessed it right away. |
