Yeah, with the absence of any FE you should be pushing any above-average hand here - which you have (just).

Folding this is far from terrible though. You can increase your calling range further if in the next couple of hands there are one or two people in the pot before you. Were you to win this hand you could increase your stack 5x.

As stated elsewhere the fold wouldn't be to step up a place - but to increase your chances of winning the thing.
