Spin Doctors - "Two Princes" 1992 [/ QUOTE ] these are great [censored] songs. i could name about 300 songs off the top of my head that should be on this list before these songs. starting with stuff like: Gym Class Heroes "girlfriend" Mims "This is why im hot" Iron Maiden "The Virus" anything that Scott Storch has produced anything that Limp Bizkit has written the majority of Queensryche songs of the last 10 years. etc etc etc. |

Re: \"The Fifty Worse Songs EVER!\"
All,
We Built This City was awesome if only for the fact that they had that part where all the radio stations put in their own custom talking part. That's the kind of awesomeness that doesn't exist for kids today! "Marconi plays the mamba, listen to the radio" As has been pointed out already, this isn't a list of worst songs, it's a list of pretty cheesy hit songs. |

[ QUOTE ] [ QUOTE ] [ QUOTE ] The Beatles - "Ob-La-Di, Ob-La-Da". Ridiculous that it's on the list. One of their most fun songs. [/ QUOTE ] qft At least the ridiculous part. This song makes me really sad, so I can't agree with the fun part. [/ QUOTE ] Sad!? That's like the happiest song of all time! [/ QUOTE ] yeah, wtf. That song is happy both in sound and lyric. Perhaps he has some negative association with it. [/ QUOTE ] I don't think so. Not that I'm aware of anyway. But I can't think of a song that makes me more sad. It feels ironic to me. Like Keats' poem ode on a grecian urn. Except exactly the opposite. |

Re: \"The Fifty Worse Songs EVER!\"
this is not 50 worst songs, this is 50 worst hit songs. Most of these songs are pretty awful hits, but still obviously were popular among enough people.

Re: \"The Fifty Worse Songs EVER!\"
[ QUOTE ]
Yeah, some of these songs are good. And didn't VH1 make a list like this like five years ago and put "We Built This City" on the top? Way to need filler for this month's mag, Blender. Tuq- the one in that list I really agree with is "Closing Time," because Semisonic's previous album was actually really good, and this was a piece of garbage whose success led them to make more pieces of garbage. [/ QUOTE ] <3 Closing Time as we'd used to put this on our stereo on repeat at the end of the night to clear out the idiots starting to bowl new games 5 minutes before we close. They got the message. |
