Default A couple hands from $22 1 rebuy/1 add on

Here are a few hands from the $22 single rebuy tourny today. Both hands are against the same villain, and he was one of the bigger stacks of the tourny with around 50 people left, while I was around 10th.

Villain had been somewhat active recently...okay time to make a move, or not worth it? Comments on any street would be appreciated.

Up to this point I had seen villain open min raise a few times and open to around 2.5x once or twice. Now he opens for more than 3x...is there anyway we're not shoving this?

1. Also don't mind a 3 bet preflop. So you've called the flop intending to take it away on later streets which is fine presuming he cbets nearly always. I would bet more on the turn to get him to fold though. Something like 16k-18k.

2. From the BB (no chance of overcall) with 5.5x his raise as our stack and an aggressive villain, basically no [censored] way i'm folding

In hand 1, what do you like making it if you 3bet, and do we have to call a push if we play it like this?

10k straight, I fold to a push (~1.65 pot odds I think) and actually shut down a lot if I get called.

chip...as usual I'll play the nit and say I really don't love getting fancy with KJ/KQ...that being said it sees to work a lot...hand one looks good after he checks I think the bet of 12K is a little light and will get called by AK and some PPs...if he calls what are you doing on a blank river?

Hand two is okay I guess...do you think you hae the best hand here? Not a whole lot of FE so be read to gamble when he calls

I really don't like anything about hand 1. At 30BBs you're not deep enough to float the flop. Pre is mariginal as well.

Hand 2, it depends on your read. I'd rather make this play when he made his usual open-raise, but u prob have decent FE and enough equity when called to make this EV+...it's not an auto-shove without a reliable read IMO.

1, meh, not a great time to float and then bet <1/2 pot :/. If I were floating flop it would be to shove turn.

2 is beyond standard, anything else is bad

[x] Hand 1 is meh. Fold flop & as played shove turn.
[x] Hand 2 is super standard, decent hand, excellent restealing stack, BB v CO raise.
