\"The Fifty Worse Songs EVER!\"
Apparently Blender has released their list of worst songs ever. Frankly I'm surprised by this list. There are a lot of songs you may call "bad" but not worst ever. It also seems, aside from two songs, that they only considered music that occurred before 1980. I'm know there are a lot of songs out there that should have made this list instead of some of these. I could probably think of 50 that could take the place of all of these. I'm not sure how you could put "My Body Is a Wonderland" and not put "Big Yellow Taxi" by Counting Crows or songs by Paris Hilton/Macho Man Randy Savage/The Cha Cha Song/Fergie/Thong Song. What do you think OOT? Is this the end all be all list of horrible songs? What would you put in it's place? Link to full explainations why they chose these songs.
Here's the list: 50. Celine Dion - "My Heart Will Go On" 1998 49. Right Said Fred - "I'm Too Sexy" 1992 48. The Beatles - "Ob-La-Di, Ob-La-Da" 1968 47. Bryan Adams - "The Only Thing That Looks Good on Me Is You " 1996 46. New Kids on the Block - "Hanging Tough" 1989 45. Ja Rule Feat. Ashanti - "Mesmerize" 2002 44. Meat Loaf - "I'd Do Anything for Love (But I Won't Do That)" 1993 43. Uncle Kracker - "Follow Me" 2000 42. Simon and Garfunkel - "The Sounds of Silence" 1965 41. Billy Joel - "We Didn't Start the Fire" 1989 40. Color Me Badd - "I Wanna Sex You Up" 1991 39. Ricky Martin - "She Bangs" 2000 38. Rednex - "Cotton Eye Joe" 1995 37. Gerado - "Rico Suave" 1991 36. Yes, I think the GBH song "Big Women" is a terrible song, and certainly worse than "Shiny Happy People," (which is actually not that bad, all things considered), but who cares? I mean, there are fifty "modern country" songs that are worse than every single song on this list. |

Re: \"The Fifty Worse Songs EVER!\"
50 Worst Hits Ever is more like it. Still needs Eagles' - Get Over It by their criteria.

Re: \"The Fifty Worse Songs EVER!\"
It's nearly impossible for a list like this to NOT suck. This list does not achieve the impossible.

Re: \"The Fifty Worse Songs EVER!\"
Make Em Say Ughhh is the song that turned No Limit into mainstream crap. So it was obviously successful. It does not belong on this list.
Sunglasses at night is awesome and that Puff Daddy song is the only thing he's ever done that I liked. This list is stupid. |
