Re: (78) AQ line check
I'd push it on the flop - way to early to be getting tricky and have someone make a bad play and suck you out.
Flush threat is developing. As played NOW I would check and hope to collect. |

Re: (78) AQ line check
why would you ever check river here when we have the best hand 100 % of the time...we want value out of hands that we beat. Thin value bet time...something like 200.

Re: (78) AQ vs Limp/RR
my thought process is as follows:
you pretty much flopped the nuts. once you raise preflop, call the preflop reraise, and call the flop bet, it is gonna be very hard to extract more chips out hands like KK/JJ/TT/KQ, etc. so i just raise the flop, and in this case i probably push. it is hard to know exactly what he has. if he has an ace you stack him. the rare time you are beat you get stacked. but all of the other times you are ahead and he does not have an ace you are not gonna get many more chips out of him so no sense giving him two free cards. or even one free card for that matter. what was your thought process for calling the flop bet and checking the turn? as played bet 250 on river and hope his unimproved pair pays you. |

Re: (78) AQ vs Limp/RR
I raise the flop bet to 650.As played I bet the turn for 700.On the river I bet 400 as he doesnt rate to have much of a hand given his line.

Re: (78) AQ vs Limp/RR
I raise that flop like an elevator. As played, bet the river. AK will call at least, and KK will fold. If he has AA or QQ, well, it's a cruel world.

Re: (78) AQ vs Limp/RR
definitely in the flop raise camp with his donk bet size, perfect opportunity to play for stacks on the flop after you call the rr pf.
river is a must bet as played ~450ish? whatever you think he might be able to call. |

Re: (78) AQ vs Limp/RR
bet turn and river and try to stack him if he has ak.
he likely has a good pp here though, so i bet small on the river. |

Re: (78) AQ vs Limp/RR
raise to 450-500 on flop, call shove.
I'll echo what others have said already - no reason to get tricky here and if he doesn't have a decent hand you aren't going to get any more chips from him so don't give him free cards. Also, if you raise flop, you are more likely to get paid by a lot of PP and Aces. They might not stack off on scary turn/rivers. |
