Your flop raise needs to be bigger, to at least $3 or so. I'd also b/f the turn. As played you need to call the river. Villain could have a smaller pp or a busted flush/straight draw.

Raise the flop bigger. 4.5 should be good. I like checking behind on the turn. A little pot control and 55-88 can stick around and draws that miss on the river may bluff. Now this is an easy call on the river and if he checked you would put out a value bet.

Another way to play this would be to bet the turn then hopefully check behind on river.

you have 11.54

raise to .4 leaves you 11.14
on the flop, you should have raised to a minimum of 3.6 but I like 4 for a nice easy number. If villian calls, the pot will be over 9.00 and you will not have a pot size bet left. This will let you push the turn very easily and not have to worry about this river situation at all.

Also, I HATE the check on the turn.

I didn't look at stack sizes. Given stack sizes after making a flop raise to 4 you hae like 7 left and the pot is 9 so go ahead and push the turn.....hope that 55-88 or spades call you.

Nobody like to call flop sometimes?

Suppose u call the 1.2 , now he check the turn and now i fire a pot size bet.I think i prefer this line , if the turn is not a spade....and maybe an ace.
