I just noticed now that all of the stick figures have penises.

Are the penis lengths correlated to anything? What is the explanation for Lagtard's penis positioning?

Thanks, OP.

And the TLAG/asian has a small Pen0r.

All,

having seen Fgators lifetime graph now, I made a horrible mistake.

His green bar should be small and in the negative.

Thanks.

[/ QUOTE ]

I think you should add another bar for rake, his green is probably equal to / slightly less than the rake.

He's a nominal winning player without a rake

This is an excellent post but please, please, please will you guys share with us fGator types what we need to do to change? I'm grinding out thousands and thousands of hands of SSNL at 0-2.5ptbb/100 and it's driving me nuts. I know what to do in nearly all the situations; I know when to bet a draw or when to take a free card; I know when its worth a 2nd barrel; I know when to value bet thin and when to check; etc

but from my PokerEV graph it is still very clear that my entire win-rate is derived from my showdown pots. If I run bad in showdowns or am on the bad end of cooler situations then I WILL lose money that session. Absolutely no doubts about it. If I run $0 from showdown winnings with a showdown EV rate of say +$250 then I'm likely to be -$100 or more for the session.

Please help - I'll do anything! If you want me to admit I suck at poker and need internet people to help me I will.

Open up in position. And stop thinking similar situations have to be played the same way all the time.

Acevader,

Assuming you play 200nl, I think a good start for you would be to raise maybe 50% of your hands in position if there is an openlimper (ie punish the limper). This should throw you out of your element and help realize the importance of position and winning lots of pots without showdown.

i thought the "needfood" archetype was named so because they want to play a low variance nit style because they are playing with money to buy food with, and as such couldn't handle any large downswings without starving
