Re: PLO8 $200: Horrible Turn card
The pot is three-way on the turn and your turn bet is a pure bluff, despite your weak two pair. Your problems are even more compounded by the fact that there BB is hopelessly short-stacked. Give up on the turn.

Re: PLO8 $200: Horrible Turn card
After the flop, I put villain on holding A3xx / A4xx with a likely king or with some gutshot spades/hearts or straight possibilities. And is not folding the turn to a pot-sized bet.

Re: PLO8 $200: Horrible Turn card
If anything, I would have checked and see if you could have gotten the free card on the river to make the high. With 3 way action, it is very likely that someone has an A3 hand and wouldn't fold to a pot size bet on the turn.
Personally, I check and if someone bets the pot let it go. Two pair may get you the high if you don't hit the flush. But you are certainly getting freerolled for the scoop. |

Re: PLO8 $200: Horrible Turn card
It would be hard to put a villain with a VPIP of 36 on a hand that crushes you. So I don’t think a C/C is terrible but the pot is small and you are OOP so I would lean towards a fold. On the other hand IMHO leading with a PSB was a total spew.

Re: PLO8 $200: Horrible Turn card
I simulated a few hands in propokertools.
On the turn, A269 has 39.85% equity against any A3. If I broaden the range to include any A4, the equity is now 39.26%. |
