($6) AJo 6 handed, bb t150
BB is 38/27 out of35 hands. Should I just b/f here? My move looks really stupid with the stack sizes, but CO and MP were pretty short so I figured he wouldn't want to gamble.

Re: ($6) AJo 6 handed, bb t150
Pretty much an unexploitable shove. Even if he's calling this wide: 22+,A2s+,A3o+,KTs+,KJo+,QJs which is probably being pretty generous it's still +ev. I'd mix between shoving and raising 375 (so I can set up future juicing hands from SB like AA where I wouldn't want to raise like 15BB or whatever, as to not make a 2.5x/3x raise look suspicious, I guess this is more metagame). I think either is fine.

Re: ($6) AJo 6 handed, bb t150
For me, BvB, SB open-shove is automatic w ATC under 15BB. With 18 and AJo, it's a pretty easy play.

Re: ($6) AJo 6 handed, bb t150
bvb w/ 15 BB ATC is probably very loose and -ev vs a lot of calling ranges. I usually only do ATC w/ like 12 BB or less vs tight opponents and vs loose ones I will probably shove like 76o+ at 10 BB or less.

Re: ($6) AJo 6 handed, bb t150
I wouldn't b/f this guy, I'd b/c. Seems like overkill to shove though. You could do just about anything vs this guy and have it be profitable, limp/shove could work.

sharks are not going to call as light as k5s or anywhere near that loose for that matter.

What I meant is: if the hero suspects the villain is some kind of brilliant player who manages to play successfully with stats like that, then he should push allin. Alternately, or more likely, the other player is not a shark and he is going to call you with a very wide range of hands. Up against the top 60% of hands AJ is only going to be a 60% favorite. |
